Jones Park is located at 71st Street and Jones Drive. In collaboration with Vision Galveston and the City of Galveston, we are excited that plans are going forward for a complete renovation of the Park.

Lasker Pool is located on 43rd Street and Avenue Q. BPG helps raise funds for the swim team and sponsors scholarships for swim lessons. Recently, we have also provided funding for shade structures. We co-sponsor activities at the pool including parties for GISD students and Sunshine Center clients.

Shield Park is located at 33rd Street and Church Street. The City of Galveston recently received a $2 million grant from the EPA to do vital work here.

We enjoy sponsoring and participating in other City activities such as the Grand Kids Festival and feeding GISD students during the 1st week of July (when GISD is closed). This year, we (along with Kiwanis) fed 160+ children breakfast and lunch during this week!
